Expat Life in Sri Lanka, Colombo

Many people call Sri Lanka the Island of surprices situatedin the Indian Ocean in south of India. Others call Sri Lanka the tea country with tea plantations, with spice gardens, banana and coconut palms, growing in order to transform a jungle of natural resources.
People, animals and transport live together in harmony. Dogs wonder idly and people are everywhere. But there is no anger and the expression and sounds are in complete friendship.People are poor and happy. In this small paradise, people are not so concerned that it takes a little longer to do things, they are ready to wait. The Life in Sri Lanka is not fast, hurry, nervous and dinamic like in many cosmopolitan countries. There are still road blockades and police / army personnel with guns going around and keeping peace when necessary.Almost 70% of the population are Buddhists, and the lifestyle is peaceful, and life-simplistic.Even if you decide to go from Colombo to Galle, which are 200 kilometers apart, it will takes you several hours in spite of the fact that roads are comparatively in good condition.

Many people could tought that life in Sri Lanka is not so preferable but this is a beautiful part of the world. They just must look at all good things here-the beauty of the natural resources, the beaches, all game parks and of course the majestic mountains.
