Cool Smartphone Apps

Smartphones are great devices which can be used by the users to make calls, browse the web, watch movies or video clips, listen to music, play games, read books and so on. What is so great about the smartphones is that you can install various apps on them, and those apps will allow you  to do all of the above mentioned things. There are hundreds of thousands of apps that you can install on a smartphone some of them useful, others not so much. Here are few apps that I think are very cool and every smartphone should have them.

Fring. Although smartphones are still primarily used to make calls with them, with this cool app you can make cheap or free calls to anywhere in the world. The app allows the users to make group free calls, video calls, group video calls, chatting with friends who are using MSN Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, and even make cheap calls to Greece (just an example). The app is supported by most mobile operating systems.

Netflix. Another cool app, which gives the chances to the users to watch streaming movies, TV series and video clip. The app is available for most operating systems, although the Android version is not supported by all the phones using this OS. Currently Netflix has more than 27 million subscribes for its services, although the large majority of them are based in US.

Angry Birds. Maybe the most popular gaming app for all mobile platforms. According to recent press release from the company that created the game, Angry Birds have been downloaded more than 400 million times. This very cool mobile phone game is the number one selling product on iTunes in over 30 different countries and it costs only a dollar.

Without all cool apps for smartphones, people wouldn't have been able to play addictive games, or call Greece free of charge, or watch their favourtite movies.
