Useful Telecommunication Windows Phone Apps

The new mobile operating system developed by Microsoft is slowly getting more and more recognition by the public. But in order for Microsoft to battle the dominance of Apple's iPhone and Google's Android on the mobile technology market, Microsoft will have to allow independent developers to create apps for their mobile operating system. So far there are every indecations that Microsoft is going to allow this and as a result many useful Windows Phone apps were already realesed.

The developers of the video calling app recognized the potential and the popularity that the new mobile operating system is going to get, so they wasted no time and quickly created an app for that platform. Tango allows the users to make free video and audio calls to whoever they want. The app supports multi-platform communication, which means that a person using the PC version of the app can call a user using the iPhone version of the app. As of now there is no way to make calls to mobile and landline numbers with Tango, something that Skype is popular for. However, the new Microsoft acquisition that is used to make the cheapest calls is still not available for Windows Phone.

Kik Messenger is another app that is very useful and any Windows Phone user should have. This app allows the users to send free text messages between themselves. Of course, if you want to send a message with this app the person who you send it should also have this app installed. But this isn't all. The app allows video, picture and audio share between users, as well as group chatting. The app requires data plan on the phone which it is used on.

With Tango and Kik Messenger users can make free video and audio calls between themselves, as well as sending free text messages. For now the most popular tool to make the cheapest calls and free calls Skype is not yet available for Windows Phone, so Tango and Kik Messenger are the only useful alternative.
